WHO WE ARE

Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) Firefighter/EMTs have personal integrity, provide compassionate emergency medical response, possess strong interpersonal skills and are effective communicators. We proudly serve the Washington State communities of Algona, Auburn, and Pacific.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 21 years of age
  • U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment selection proces

*EMT Certification is not required at time of application


HOW TO APPLY

The VRFA partners with Public Safety Testing (PST) to conduct the initial testing of candidates consisting of a written test and Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT).

TIMELINE

Written test and valid CPAT through PST must be completed by 8/16/18 

Must pass written component between 8/23/17 – 8/16/18 

Notifications made to candidates no later than 8/20/18 

Oral Boards: 9/10/18 – 9/15/18
