WFC Welcomes Chief Steve Brooks as Executive Director

The Washington Fire Chiefs are excited to announce that Chief Steve Brooks has been selected as the organization's Executive Director. He will start his new role on January 1st.
Chief Steve Brooks brings over 30 years of fire/EMS experience to the job, with the last 20 years here in Washington State and as a member of the WFC. He most recently spent 13 years leading Lacey Fire District 3 as its Fire Chief. He is knowledgeable about the WFC through his time as President, Legislative Chair, and Western Fire Chiefs Representative. He is excited to continue serving the Association and its members in this new position.
