This course prepares fire service personnel to deliver instruction from a prepared lesson plan. Additional areas of responsibility will include assembling course materials, using instructional aides and evaluation tools, reviewing and adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students or groups, organizing, and providing a safe learning environment. The class will also cover the methods used to prepare and maintain training records in accordance with department standards. (NFPA 1041, 2019 Edition)
Prerequisites: No prerequisites
Required Text: IFSTA Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, 9th Edition
