The Office Assistant position was established to provide a highly responsible person to assist the Fire Chief and Business Manager in administration tasks for the District. The major emphasis of this position shall be to perform District customer service, ambulance billing, public education, and general office activities in accordance with District policies, procedures, and plans.

Minimum of 2 years previous experience as an office assistant or in customer service
High School Graduate/GED or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Must be a minimum of 21 years old at time of hire
Legal US Resident or current work visa
Effective verbal and written communication in English
AA or BA degree
Strong knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local laws
Effective verbal and written communication in Spanish highly desired
Notary Public or ability to become a Notary Public
