We are looking for a self-motivated individual to contribute to supporting KVFR's mission as our Financial Services Manager. This position works independently under the general supervision of the Fire Chief. The Financial Services Manager serves as an administrative support team member to KVFR. They perform accounting, budgeting, and prepare financial reporting and payroll functions. They must ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the financial management activities and work products and ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard KVFR’s financial and physical assets.

Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.
Applicants must be in good standing with no debts currently assigned to collections, and a credit history that reflects no pattern of instability and be bondable. The applicant must not have a pending garnishment or judgment which may cause undue hardship while employed with this agency, with the exception of child support. The hiring authority shall review the applicant’s credit history and determine eligibility for employment on a case-by-case basis. Prior to hire, the candidate is required to pass a background check.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred with an emphasis in accounting or business administration
Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, & Outlook), and industry-specific financial management system(s).
Valid State Driver’s License or ability to obtain one by time of hire; must maintain an insurable driving record.
Five (5) years of position-related experience. A combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job may be considered.
