Bio:
BIO: Jeremy Burns is the Fire Chief of Ephrata Fire Department. He started as a volunteer firefighter there in 1995. Jeremy was hired in 2001 as the Assistant Fire Chief in charge of training and fire marshal duties, he was appointed Fire Chief in 2004. He enjoys the relationships built among the fire service members in Eastern Washington.
Jeremy attended Columbia Basin College in Pasco WA. During that time he was also a volunteer firefighter with Franklin County Fire District #3 and Grant County Fire District #3. Jeremy has a bachelor’s degree from Columbia Southern University in Fire Science Administration.
Jeremy lives in Ephrata with his wife and two children. He enjoys camping, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
